Hollywood Movies and Fairytales, written and performed by Karen Leslie Hall (SOCAN) and produced by Dan Hill, is a song about self-imposed limitations and how it's possible to overcome them when you realize they're not really there. Our acceptance of our limitations is what allows them to stop us.
The same can be said of problems that exist on a global scale, such as world hunger: our resigned acceptance of such conditions allows them to continue.
The Hunger Project is committed to the end of the persistence of world hunger, and is working to end hunger in countries around the world through strategic initiatives.
In support of this work Karen Leslie Hall and Seadance Music offer a cassette-single of the song Hollywood Movies and Fairytales. All proceeds from the sale of the cassette are donated to The Hunger Project.
